Sales in Microsoft 365 Copilot - Link meetings to CRM records automatically with AI

We are announcing the ability to link meetings to CRM records automatically with AI in Sales in Microsoft 365 Copilot. This feature will reach general availability on September 30, 2026.

How does this affect me?
Users will have upcoming customer meetings automatically matched to the most relevant CRM record using AI. The feature will match to an open opportunity when confidence is sufficient, or to an account when no opportunity meets the confidence threshold. The matched record will provide CRM-powered opportunity and account insights during meeting preparation.

Additionally, users will be able to review, accept, change, or remove the suggested match. Meetings will remain soft-linked until users confirm the CRM record.

What action do I need to take?
The feature will be automatically enabled for users who use meeting preparation and have access to CRM data, including Dynamics 365 or another connected CRM system.
