Retirement of Viva Insights (personal insights) and Viva Learning usage reports

Viva Insights personal insights and Viva Learning usage reports will be retired from the Microsoft 365 admin center by mid-November 2026. Admins should access Viva Learning metrics directly in the app and update documentation and communications accordingly.

The Viva Learning usage report and The Viva Insights personal insights active-user trend chart will be retired from the Microsoft 365 admin center. For Viva Learning, admins can continue to access usage metrics in the Viva Learning app directly.

[Rollout schedule:]

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out on early October 2026 and expect to complete by mid-November 2026.

•  The Viva Insights personal insights active-user trend chart will be retired.
•  The Viva Learning usage report will be removed from the Microsoft 365 admin center
•  Viva Learning analytics will continue through the Viva Learning reporting experience.
