Dynamics 365 Project Operations – View budget details from the project's left navigation (Preview)

We are announcing the ability to access budget details directly from the left navigation pane with the new Project Budget management experience in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach public preview on September 30, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature enhances the Project Budget management experience by providing:

• Improved budget visibility: View budget information in a dedicated experience that makes key budget details easier to access and review.
• Clearer budget version actions: Perform budget version actions within the budget workspace, with the selected budget version clearly identified before actions are taken.
• Simplified budget navigation: Access budget information and related actions from the project's left navigation, reducing reliance on the Project form Budget tab.
