We're introducing Writing blocks in Microsoft 365 Copilot. Writing blocks provide a dedicated editing experience for content such as emails, memos, announcements, reports, and other drafts directly within Copilot.
With Writing blocks, users can create, review, and iteratively refine longer-form content in a structured workspace without leaving the Copilot experience, helping improve productivity and streamline content creation workflows.

- General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in mid-September 2026 and expect to complete by late September 2026.

- Users will be able to create and edit content in dedicated Writing blocks within Copilot.

- Users can iteratively refine content directly in Copilot without repeatedly generating new responses.
- This is a user-facing enhancement designed to make content creation and editing more efficient.
