Dynamics 365 Project Operations - Update key project fields using Copy project

We are announcing the ability to update key project fields using Copy project in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach general availability on September 4, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature enables you to update key project fields according to their requirements during the copy process.

Fields that may be updated during the copy process include:

• Contracting unit
• Owning Company
• Customer
• Schedule mode (if override is allowed)
• Calendar template
