Dynamics 365 Project Operations - Assign task level calendar for precise planning

We are announcing the ability to assign task level calendar for precise planning in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach general availability/public preview on September 30, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature provides an experience to change the task calendar on the Customizable task details pane. To enable this feature, from project parameters select Enable Customize Task Pane. When enabled through feature control, this functionality lets you:

• Set a task-level calendar on the Customizable task details pane.
• Manage task-level calendars.
• Schedule API support.
