Summary

SharePoint introduces Campaigns in SharePoint, integrating Viva Amplify’s campaign management to organize and analyze news posts within SharePoint. Rolling out worldwide from July to September 2026, it requires no admin action, supports Viva Amplify users, and maintains existing Viva Amplify campaign functions.

Details

[What and Why:]

We are introducing a new SharePoint Publish experience: Campaigns in SharePoint (Site Campaigns). This new capability brings campaign management experiences from Viva Amplify into SharePoint, providing corporate communications teams with a unified place to create, organize, distribute, and measure SharePoint news content without leaving SharePoint.

For organizations with Viva Amplify users, this feature offers a lightweight way to organize SharePoint news posts into campaigns and benefit from campaign analytics directly within SharePoint. There are no changes to the Viva Amplify licensing model or existing Viva Amplify in-app campaign experiences.
