How does this affect me?
Electronic Reporting allows users to author and run business documents such as invoices, statutory reports, value-added tax (VAT) declarations, and payment files. Updating to versions 10.0.48 and 10.0.49 will deliver the following enhancements:
- BCC recipients on ER Email destinations (10.0.48): This will now include a Bcc field alongside To and Cc, enabling confidential distribution of generated documents to compliance, audit, or archival mailboxes entirely through configuration.
- GS1 barcode generation (10.0.49): This will now generate GS1-128, GS1 DataMatrix, and GS1 QR Code barcodes natively and apply correct GS1 encoding rules automatically.
- DIV and MOD formula functions (10.0.49): This simplifies formulas used for pagination, packaging quantities, period bucketing, and check-digit calculations.
- Correct number of copies in Print management (10.0.49): This will now print the exact number of copies configured in Print management or requested in ad-hoc print dialogs.
- Memory optimization for large ER executions (10.0.49): This reduces peak memory consumption during large-volume reports processing. No configuration changes are required; reports benefit automatically.
- Bulk configuration validation (10.0.49): This now supports selecting and validating multiple ER configurations in a single batch operation, with persistent Validation history and version-level tracking to avoid redundant validation runs.
