The new Windows Insider experience rollout began in April 2026 and has recently fully reached all Windows Insider channels. Retail versions of Windows now also see the new WIP channel options.

Organizational environments that rely on Windows Insider builds for testing, validation, or early feature evaluation might experience changes in where and how to access related documentation, announcements, and guidance. This includes updates related to new preview builds, feature introductions, and deprecations. Use this information to start testing the recently announced Windows 11, version 26H2 via the Windows Insider Program.

Review internal processes for monitoring WIP updates. Ensure awareness of the new web experience and updated documentation content locations.
