Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys - Enable advanced personalization using simple formulas

We are announcing the ability to enable advanced personalization using simple formulas to modify text, dates, and numbers in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys. This feature will reach public preview on August 7, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature enables you to enhance personalization by transforming data directly within your messages using PowerFx expressions. Standardize customer names, format dates and numbers for different regions, and perform simple calculations such as days until expiration or suggested donation amounts based on prior activity.

Key functionality of this feature includes:

• A variety of PowerFx functions to text, number, and dates in messages.
• Text functions that include concatenation, change case, trim, substitute, and replace.
• Number functions that include arithmetic calculations, rounding, and formatting.
