We are announcing the ability to share autonomous agents with end users in Copilot Studio. This feature will reach public preview on July 30, 2026.
How does this affect me?
With this feature, you can create triggers for autonomous agents that run using end-user credentials. This enables agents to operate fully in the background, respond to external events, and be shared with end users so the agents can run on their behalf.
In addition, triggers are now a fully native capability within Copilot Studio. You can create, configure, test, update, and delete triggers directly inside Copilot Studio and manage the entire trigger lifecycle end-to-end. Existing triggers built on Power Automate will continue to function as they do today.
