We are announcing the ability to empower ERP users with Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, combining ERP and workplace intelligence for fast decisions in Finance and operations apps. This feature will reach public preview on July 27, 2026.
How does this affect me?
This feature enables users to navigate, understand, and act on ERP data using natural language. The experience combines ERP intelligence from Dynamics 365 with workplace intelligence from Microsoft 365. Users can connect financial tasks with the broader business context from emails, meetings, documents, and Teams conversations, to resolve issues faster and make more informed decisions.
Copilot also accelerates common Finance and operations workflows by retrieving balances, summarizing vouchers, highlighting anomalies, tracing document chains, and identifying approval blockers. The assistant respects security roles and organizational permissions, providing accurate answers grounded in live ERP data.
