Microsoft Viva: Agent flexible query in Analytics Workbench

Microsoft Viva Insights Analytics Workbench will add a flexible query feature for exploring Microsoft 365 Copilot agent usage, enabling analysts to create customized reports by combining agent metrics with organizational data. It rolls out worldwide from late July to late August 2026, requiring no admin action.

We are introducing a flexible query capability in Microsoft Viva Insights Analytics Workbench that enables insights analysts to explore Microsoft 365 Copilot agent adoption using customizable, self-serve queries. Analysts can combine granular agent usage metrics with organizational attributes to understand trends, create tailored reports, and support data‑driven decision making without relying on predefined dashboards.
