Dynamics 365 Finance - Refresh data frequently in Business performance analytics

We are announcing the ability to refresh data frequently in Business performance analytics in Dynamics 365 Finance. This feature will reach public preview on June 30, 2026.

How does this affect me?
With this update, your Business performance analytics data will refresh every hour instead of twice a day. More frequent refreshes provide access to current information with improved accuracy for reporting and analysis, helps you make decisions with greater confidence, and respond faster to changing business conditions. This improves support for time-sensitive processes like month-end close with more up-to-date financial and operational data.

With this release:

• Data is refreshed automatically every hour to reduce latency between Dynamics 365 Finance data and analytics.
• Incremental data processing ensures that only new or changed records are updated to minimize refresh time and resource consumption.
• Users can make faster, data-driven decisions based on current operational data to improve agility and responsiveness.

Future releases will continue to build on this foundation, offering even greater flexibility and control over refresh schedules.
