(Updated) Scoped SharePoint search in Teams (SharePoint app, also called Viva Connections)

Starting late June 2026, Teams' SharePoint app (Viva Connections) search will be scoped to SharePoint content, showing relevant results and suggestions within Teams. The feature is enabled by default, respects existing permissions, requires no admin changes, and will complete rollout by mid to late August 2026.
