Planned Maintenance: Updates to Viva Glint Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) connectivity

Viva Glint will undergo planned maintenance on May 31, 2026, from 1:00 AM PDT for 3–4 hours, temporarily affecting platform and SFTP access. SFTP connectivity will update to a single endpoint with possible IPv6 use. Maintain existing IP allowlists until after maintenance to avoid disruptions.

To support ongoing security and infrastructure improvements, Viva Glint will perform planned maintenance on May 31, 2026, starting at 1:00 AM Pacific Time (PDT). During this maintenance window, the Viva Glint platform will be temporarily unavailable.

The maintenance window is expected to last approximately 3–4 hours. During this time, customers may experience limited access to Viva Glint surveys and the Viva Glint platform, including Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) integrations.

What will happen:

• Most customers will not need to take action.
• For organizations that restrict SFTP access by IP address:
  • Viva Glint SFTP connectivity will be updated to use a single endpoint and IP address per environment.
  • IPv6 addresses may be used preferentially when supported by your network configuration.
  • Existing IP addresses will continue to function until the maintenance window has completed.
• There is no change to Viva Glint features, surveys, or reporting, aside from temporary unavailability during the maintenance window.

As a best practice, Viva Glint recommends allowing access at the domain level, where possible, rather than relying on specific IP addresses.

[What you can do to prepare:]

To avoid disruption to SFTP integrations:

• Maintain all existing IP allowlist entries until the May 31, 2026, maintenance window is complete.
• You may add the new IP addresses in advance of the maintenance.
• Do not remove existing IP addresses until after the maintenance window has concluded.

Removing existing IP addresses too early may result in connectivity issues before the change takes effect. Failing to add the new IP addresses in time may cause disruptions after the update.
