Finance and operations apps - Monitor data management framework with Azure Application Insights

We are announcing the ability to view progress tracking, detailed error insights, and proactive alerts through Azure Application Insights for Data Management Framework (DMF) telemetry integration in D365 finance and D365 Supply chain management. This feature will reach general availability on June 2, 2026.

How does this affect me?
DMF telemetry integration will stream information directly to an Azure Application Insights instance, allowing users to do the following:

• Monitor import and export data management functions with start and end times.
• Monitor job status from source to staging and staging to target.
• Monitor failures with error messages at a granular level.
• Set up alerts and dashboards for proactive monitoring.
• Accelerate issue resolution.

What action do I need to take?
