Summary

Intune service maintenance for the North America tenant is scheduled on May 30, 2026, from 4 PM to 11 PM PT, causing downtime affecting admin changes, device enrollment, and app access. Users should avoid updates during this period; a reminder will be sent 5 days prior.

Details

We have service maintenance planned that includes downtime for your Intune tenant on North America 0601. During this maintenance we will be making improvements to incorporate disaster recovery resilience into our infrastructure. This is a step towards ultimately making Intune more resilient to single datacenter outages. This maintenance is expected to occur:

Starting: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 4 PM PT

Ending: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 11 PM PT

[How this will affect you organization:]

This downtime will impact Microsoft Intune admin center and Intune for Education. During this downtime, you will be able to login to these portals, but you will not be able to make any admin changes. We recommend not logging in to Intune during downtime, since data and reports may not be accurately displayed. Services, for example, device check-in, enrollment, mobile application management (MAM), and app installation will not be available.

User impact: Users will not be able to access the Company Portal or enroll their device during this time. Additionally, users who are targeted for MAM Conditional Access, if their grace period expired, they will not have access to managed apps and will not be able to add new MAM apps.

You should not plan to make any updates or changes during the maintenance window.

[What you need to do to prepare:]

This message is a notice that maintenance is being planned around a month from now. We will post another message 5 days before this maintenance, with an exact downtime window for your planning purposes. You can reach out to us at svcinc@microsoft.com or through your Microsoft contact if you have any questions or concerns.

This maintenance is planned outside of normal business hours, to help minimize any impact to your organization. For organizations with users around the globe, we recognize that "outside of normal business hours" might affect you differently. We apologize for the impact this may have on your admins or users. We are working hard to improve Intune to minimize these maintenance windows.
