Dynamics 365 Finance - Manage assets using the Acquire to Dispose data model

We are announcing the ability to manage assets using the Acquire to Dispose (A2D) data model in Dynamics 365 Finance. This feature will reach general availability on May 29, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This A2D data model delivers granular data that enables you to create custom reports and perform detailed analysis. It incorporates various dimensions across the asset lifecycle. With this capability, you gain deeper insights into asset performance, usage, and cost trends. You can easily identify patterns in asset use, optimize maintenance schedules, enhance investment strategies, support effective tax management, and run accurate depreciation calculations.
