We are announcing the ability to connect Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse data to AI-powered sales research in Dynamics 365 Sales. This feature will reach general availability on April 30, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature enables AI-powered experiences to combine sales activity data with trusted operational data in a single, coherent view for users. The Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse connector provides an integration between Dynamics 365 Sales research experiences and data stored in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake). Key capabilities of this feature allow users to:

• Connect to Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse tables without manual exports or data replication.
• Allow AI-powered agents to query and reason across Dynamics 365 Sales (Dataverse) and Lakehouse data together.
• Add support for operational and financial datasets, including:
  • Revenue actuals
  • Targets and budgets
  • Invoicing and backlog
• View sales and sales operations insights seamlessly within AI-powered research and analysis experiences
