Outlook on iPad is adding the ability to expand a calendar event into a full‑screen view. This provides more space to review and edit event information.

[When this will happen]

General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCCH, and DoD): We will begin rolling out in early March 2026 and expect to complete by late March 2026.

Who is affected: Users who access their Outlook calendar on iPad.

What will happen:

  • Users will be able to expand a calendar event to full‑screen: 

    user settings

  • The full‑screen view provides more room to read and edit event details: 

    user settings

  • Users can collapse the full‑screen view back to the previous view by tapping the back button.
  • The feature is enabled by default.
  • Existing admin settings and policies remain unchanged.
  • There is no impact to other Outlook clients.
