[Introduction]

We are expanding meeting interoperability between Microsoft Teams and Google Meet by enabling two‑way Direct Guest Join (DGJ). Teams Rooms on Windows devices will be able to join Google Meet meetings using one‑touch join or meeting ID entry, while Google Meet devices will be able to join Teams meetings. This improvement helps organizations simplify cross‑platform meeting participation and reduce reliance on companion devices or manual join workarounds.
