Microsoft will perform planned maintenance on the Windows 365 alerting service in North America on January 17, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 AM UTC. During this time, admins cannot create or edit alert rules, and new alerts may be delayed, but existing alerts remain visible.

As previously mentioned in MC1202955: to improve security, operational efficiency, and reliability, Microsoft will perform planned maintenance on the Windows 365 alerting service in the North America region. This work is scheduled during non-peak hours to help minimize potential impact.
