Room use and people count data based on size and capacity on the Pro Management portal shared spaces insights page

The Pro Management portal’s Shared space insights page will add two new analytics tiles showing Teams Rooms utilization and people count by room size and capacity. Rolling out worldwide from January 2025 to February 2026, this feature requires Teams Rooms Pro licenses and accurate room capacity data.

Two new data tiles provide insight on room utilization and people count based on room size, capacity. This update helps organizations optimize workspace investments by offering actionable data on reservations and occupancy.

General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout begins mid-January 2025 and is expected to complete by early February 2026.

• Usage data can be filtered by reservations, occupancy, or both.
• Feature is available only for Teams Rooms assigned a Teams Rooms Pro license.
