Dynamics 365 Finance - Print the Italian Fiscal Journal as PDF

We are announcing the ability to print the Italian Fiscal Journal as a PDF using Electronic Reporting (ER) in Dynamics 365 Finance. This feature will reach general availability on December 26, 2025.

How does this affect me?
This release introduces a redesigned version of the Italian Fiscal Journal report, now generated in PDF format using the Electronic reporting (ER) overview. The new solution replaces the previous SSRS-based implementation and brings several key improvements:

• PDF output via Electronic Reporting: The report is now rendered directly in PDF format, ensuring consistent layout.
• Configurable report design: The ER format allows for easier customization of the report layout without requiring code changes.
• Improved performance: The new design supports processing larger volumes of transactional data more efficiently, overcoming performance constraints previously encountered with SSRS.
