Finance and Operations Apps - Information regarding the end of support for the Budget Proposal feature

The Budget Proposal feature in Dynamics 365 Finance Insights will be deprecated on October 31, 2025, and reach End-of-Service on January 31, 2026. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to streamline capabilities and align with strategic planning solutions.

How does this affect me?
Our internal monitoring indicates that your environment may have interacted with the Budget Proposal feature. As part of lifecycle management, this feature was removed from your environment beginning on October 31, 2025.

What action do I need to take?
If you do not plan to use Budget Proposal, no action is required.

If you need budgeting capabilities, we recommend transitioning to Business Performance Planning (BPP), which offers driver-based planning, workflow approvals, Excel/Power BI integration, and Dataverse compatibility.
