Exclude additional service locations from conditional access policies by 12.31.2025 for Teams SIP Gateway

By December 31, 2025, organizations using Teams SIP Gateway must update conditional access policies to exclude additional SIP Gateway IP addresses, or SIP devices may go offline and lose calling functionality. Check non-interactive sign-in logs to determine if updates are needed and communicate changes internally.

[Introduction]

We’re making updates to Teams SIP Gateway infrastructure to improve reliability and performance. To ensure uninterrupted service for SIP devices, organizations that currently exclude Teams SIP Gateway service IPs from conditional access (CA) policies must update their exclusions to include additional IP addresses.

Required changes must be completed by December 31, 2025.

[How this affects your organization:]

Who is affected: Tenants using Teams SIP Gateway and excluding SIP Gateway service IPs from conditional access policies (Configure SIP Gateway). This primarily applies to organizations using bulk sign-in or devices signed in before July 2023.

What will happen:

• SIP devices connected through Teams SIP Gateway will go offline if required updates are not made.
• Users will lose calling functionality on affected devices.

[What you can do to prepare:]

• Check if your tenant is in scope:
  • Navigate to Non-interactive sign-in logs in the Microsoft Entra portal.
  • Add a filter for IP Address (seen by resource) with values currently given in Configure SIP Gateway (check for all 6 IPs).
  • If no logs appear, you are not in scope.
  • If logs appear, update your CA policies to exclude the following additional IPs:

APAC:

• 70.152.50.14
• 70.152.1.9
• 70.152.49.18
• 70.152.1.10

EMEA:

• 70.152.180.28
• 70.152.200.28
• 70.152.180.29
• 70.152.192.2

NOAM:

• 70.152.106.56
• 70.152.136.2
• 70.152.120.55
• 70.152.38.25
