We are announcing the ability to convert Excel and Word documents to PDF format in Dynamics 365 Finance. This feature utilizes Application Object Server (AOS) resources to eliminate the need for external conversion services. This feature will reach general availability on October 1, 2025.
How does this affect me?
With this feature, you can convert configurable business documents from Word or Excel formats to PDF format, without the need for external conversion services.
To use this feature in Dynamics 365 Finance version 10.0.43 and later, enable the "In-App PDF conversion for the Configurable Business Documents (CBD)" feature in Feature management.
