When this will happen
General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early October 2025 and expect to complete by late October 2025.
How this affects your organization
When Manage what attendees see setting is enabled, this provides an on and off-screen section in the meeting to provide Organizers and Presenters more controls to focus on certain participants, and more.
Prior to this update, only the room view was shown on the Presenter and Attendee view in Teams webinars and structured meetings. Now with this update, Cloud IntelliFrame, Multi-stream IntelliFrame, and Multiple camera view will be shown on the left pane under Manage screen, and in the center of the meeting window simultaneously. This supports consistent viewing and helps Organizers and Presenters see what's being shown to Attendees.
In Teams webinars and structured meetings, there are changes in existing user experiences. Please note the following:
- Cloud IntelliFrame: Presenters nor Attendees will be able to disable Cloud IntelliFrame from their local view.
- Multi-stream IntelliFrame: Presenters nor Attendees will be able to hide room panorama from their local view.
- Multiple camera view: Presenters nor Attendees will be able to switch camera views from their local view.
What you can do to prepare
- Inform your users about this new experience.
- Update training materials and room usage guides to reflect the new camera preview functionality.
