(Updated) Retirement of the "Saved" App in Teams Mobile – Transition to New Saved Experience

The legacy Saved app in Teams Mobile will be retired on October 31, 2025, replaced by a new integrated Saved experience. Users must manually re-save important messages, as previous saves won't migrate. A banner will notify users starting August 18, 2025. No admin action is required.

We’re retiring the legacy Saved app in Microsoft Teams Mobile. This app currently allows users to view messages they've saved using the “Save” action. Starting October 31, 2025, the Saved app will be removed from Teams Mobile and replaced with a new, modern Saved experience that offers a more integrated way to revisit saved content across Teams.

When this will happen

• August 18, 2025: A banner will appear in the legacy Saved app notifying users of the upcoming change.
• October 31, 2025: The legacy Saved app will be fully removed from Teams Mobile.

How this affects your organization

You’re receiving this message because our reporting indicates your organization may be using the legacy Saved app in Teams Mobile.

• The legacy Saved app will no longer be available in Teams Mobile after October 31, 2025.
• Users can continue saving messages, which will now appear in the new Saved view.
• Previously saved messages will not be automatically migrated. Users can manually re-save any important messages they wish to retain.
