We’re updating the Event scheduling experience with a refreshed user interface and new Copilot capabilities to streamline meeting creation and improve usability for end users.

As part of this new experience, the Meeting Insights feature will no longer be offered for users without a Copilot license. For Copilot license users, the capabilities previously found in the meeting insights feature are now available within a new Meeting Prepare experience and includes more refined and additional types of information along with additional features to help users prepare for upcoming meetings. 

When this will happen:

  • Public Preview: Rolling out mid-September 2025 (previously mid-August) – mid-October 2025 (previously mid-September).
  • Targeted Release: Rolling out mid-October 2025 (previously mid-September) – mid-November 2025 (previously mid-October).
  • General Availability: Rolling out mid-November 2025 (previously mid-October) – mid-December 2025 (previously mid-November).
How this affects your organization:

The updated Event form introduces a modernized layout with relocated controls and entry points for common actions. It also includes new Copilot capabilities designed to assist users in setting up and managing meetings more efficiently.

The New Meeting Prepare experience for Copilot licensed users will appear show up when available as follows:
