You are receiving this message because users in your tenant are still using Classic Teams. As of July 1, 2025, we have begun blocking access to Classic Teams. This rollout will continue over the next few weeks until all users are fully blocked. To avoid disruption and ensure business continuity, we strongly recommend completing your migration to New Teams as soon as possible. If your organization has already completed the migration, no further action is required.

[How this will affect your organization:]
Starting July 1, 2025, users in your organization will begin losing access to Classic Teams as Microsoft rolls out the blocking process. This rollout will occur over several weeks, and users will be unable to use Classic Teams once blocked. To prevent any disruption to business operations, please ensure all users transition to the New Teams desktop app or access Teams via the web at https://teams.microsoft.com.

[What you need to do to prepare:]
- Use this script to find Windows devices that need to be upgraded to new Teams. While the main purpose of the script is to identify issues before installation of new Teams, it can also be used to detect devices running unsupported OS for new Teams Installation.
- Upgrade users as soon as possible to the new Teams app. Learn more about switching to new Teams. Prerequisites for new Teams installation: Windows and Mac
- If you have already migrated all your users to New Teams and want to uninstall Classic Teams, use this script.
