(Updated) Microsoft Entra admin center: The "Monitoring " feature will retire from Conditional Access | Overview

The "Monitoring" feature in Conditional Access | Overview will be retired from the Microsoft Entra admin center between July 21, 2025, and August 1, 2025, due to low usage. Users are advised to use Conditional Access per-policy reporting and the Insights and reporting dashboard instead. No admin action is required.

Starting July 21, 2025 (previously 18) and ending August 1, 2025 (previously July 28), we will retire the Monitoring feature from Conditional Access | Overview in the Microsoft Entra admin center. The Monitoring feature was previously in preview, but it had low usage and will no longer be available.

Instead, we recommend Conditional Access per-policy reporting and the Insights and reporting dashboard, where we will continue to invest our development resources. You can access this feature from Microsoft Entra admin center > Conditional Access | Policies > View policy impact (Preview):

You are receiving this message because our reporting indicates one or more users (Security/Global reader/admin roles) in your organization have viewed the Monitoring feature in the Conditional Access | Overview in the last 30 days.

Admins will no longer be able to view the Monitoring tab after this retirement is implemented.

This change will happen automatically by the specified date. No admin action is required. Please notify your users about this change, update relevant documentation as appropriate, and encourage the use of per-policy reporting and the Insights and reporting dashboard.
