To avoid disruption, please ensure all users are fully migrated to the new Teams experience. If you have already completed the migration, you can disregard this message. You can find the Windows devices that are still running classic Teams by running this script.

Starting July 1st, 2025, classic Teams will be unavailable to use as mentioned in the documentation at: Teams Classic End of Availability. Users will not be able to dismiss the blocking message or use the classic Teams app. To avoid any business continuity issues, you must upgrade to new Teams or use Teams on the web at https://teams.microsoft.com. 

[What you need to do to prepare:]

• Use this script to find Windows devices that need to be upgraded to new Teams. While the main purpose of the script is to identify issues before installation of new Teams, it can also be used to detect devices running unsupported OS for new Teams Installation.
• Upgrade users as soon as possible to the new Teams app. Learn more about switching to new Teams. Prerequisites for new Teams installation: Windows and Mac.
