Summary

Microsoft Viva Learning will introduce Auto-Save and Draft modes for learning paths in early June 2025. These features require a Viva Learning Premium or Viva Suite license. Changes will be saved automatically, with updates to published paths saved as drafts until published. No admin action is required.

A Viva Learning Premium license or a Microsoft Viva Suite license are required to access this feature.

[When this will happen:]

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early June 2025 (previously mid-May) and expect to complete by mid-June 2025 (previously late May).

[How this will affect your organization:]

After this rollout:

Changes to new, draft, or published learning paths will be automatically saved. Updates to a published learning path will be saved in a draft state (Changes in draft) until you are ready to publish:

The live version of the learning path will not change until you select Publish.

This rollout will happen automatically with no admin action required. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.
