Microsoft Teams Premium users will soon be able to personalize their scheduling experience by pre-saving meeting options as templates they can use to schedule meetings quickly and easily in the new calendar in Teams.

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early June 2025 and expect to complete by mid-June 2025.
[How this will affect your organization:]
After this rollout, to create a Personal Template, a user can switch to the new calendar, create a Teams meeting, and open the Meeting options pane. From there, a user can select the meeting options and save as a template for future use. This screenshot shows the Save as template button after making an update on a meeting option in the Meeting access screen:
Users can also create a personal template by selecting the Create template option in the New event dropdown menu.
After the template is saved, it will appear in the New event dropdown menu as well as the View all templates menu:
To schedule a meeting with a personal template, users can select the desired template from the New event dropdown menu or from the View All Templates menu.
To edit a template, users can select the View all templates menu in the New event dropdown menu and then select Edit next to the template they'd like to modify. To delete a template, users can choose the Delete option from the same View all templates menu.

This rollout will happen automatically by the specified dates with no admin action required before the rollout. Review your current configuration to assess the impact on your organization. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.
