(Updated) Microsoft Word: Fix spelling and grammar all at once with Copilot

Microsoft Word's Copilot now offers a one-click "Fix grammar and spellings" feature to correct all errors simultaneously, with review and undo options. Rolling out worldwide from mid-May to mid-August 2025, it requires a Copilot license. Organizations should update training and manage access accordingly.

We are excited to announce a new feature in the Copilot menu in Word: Fix grammar and spellings. This feature provides a one-click solution to apply all grammar and spelling corrections simultaneously, with the option to review and undo any changes you prefer not to keep.

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out by mid-May 2025 (previously late April) and expect to complete by mid-August 2025 (previously mid-June).

[How this will affect your organization:]

Customers will have access to a new feature in their Copilot menu: Fix grammar and spellings. This feature provides a one-click solution to apply all grammar and spelling corrections simultaneously, with the option to review and undo any changes they prefer not to keep.

Users can select text in a Word document to review all the spelling and grammar errors and Copilot will help them fix those errors inline and allow users the ability to review each of the changes made.
