Coming soon for Microsoft Teams Phone on Android devices: Copilot-generated summaries for call transfer. This feature is designed to streamline call transfers by providing agents receiving transferred calls with a Copilot summary of the call. This summary includes key details such as caller information, call reason, prior actions, and next steps. It supports Consult and Blind transfers to help ensure effective communication and improve efficiency.

Please ensure that your Teams phone devices are updated with the latest application to get access to the new features described in this message. These features will be available only with the latest application update.

Prerequisite to use these new features: Admins must enable Transcription in Calling policies for both transferor and transferee.

This rollout will happen automatically by the specified dates with no admin action required before the rollout. Review your current configuration to assess the impact on your organization. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.
