Dynamics 365 Field Service: Review and visualize an asset's maintenance schedules

Business value An asset can have several lines of service, each with its own maintenance schedule, recurrence pattern, and future events. When those schedules are reviewed separately, planners have difficulty understanding the asset's complete maintenance plan and how the different service requirements will play out together. A consolidated list and visual timeline give maintenance teams one place to understand the asset's planned service, investigate individual events, and identify schedules or timing that should be adjusted. This visibility supports faster, more informed planning without requiring teams to reconstruct the plan from separate records. Feature detail From an asset's maintenance plan, view all maintenance schedules for that asset in one place. Review each line of service and the schedule that controls when its maintenance activities become due, including calendar-based, usage-based, combined time-and-usage, and sequential criteria. Visualize how those schedules are expected to play out over time. The visualization brings the projected maintenance events from the asset's schedules into a chronological view so users can see how the different service lines relate to one another and when maintenance is expected. Users can select and investigate an individual maintenance event to understand the service activity, schedule, trigger, and expected timing behind it. They can then return to the relevant schedule when its criteria, recurrence, sequence, or timing needs to be changed.
