After further review we have decided not to proceed with this change at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Optical character recognition (OCR) support will detect sensitive content in images and subsequently apply data loss prevention (DLP) policies to prevent exfiltration of that sensitive data in Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams. This release supports key file types like JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP and PDF (image only PDF).
